There is no bad time to hunt in South Africa.  Our hunting season runs from 1st February until 30th November.  Planing your hunt according to your hunting preference is very important so we recommend that Rifle hunts are planed March through October and Bow Hunts (min 10 days) July though September.

April is still part of our rainy season so temperatures are still high and water is easily available.  July through September is our dry season so water is limited to watering holes.

Temperatures in winter (May to August) vary between 5°C (40° F) in the early morning to 20°C (68°F) during mid day. Autumn and Spring (February to April and September to November) varies between 15°C (59°F) to 30°C (86°F).

We recommend a wide brimmed hat with a good sun block with a protection factor of at least 20.

Testimonials

Our African Safari with Numzaan's, Jean Louis, was a "trip of a lifetime" experience.  Jean Louis made this hunt all that it could be for us.  Our accomodations  and food and drink at Kamboo were exceptional and we loved every minute sitting around the fire ring.  The evening sky was beautiful and even with the full moon the Southern Cross shown brightly every night.  The animals were beautiful and what a thrill to see them in person.  Our hunts were exciting and our trophies exceptional.  We saw so much, learned so much and met the nicest people while on our safari.
We bought our safari at an FNRA event.  Thank you, Jean Louis, and Numzaan Safari for donating to this organization.
